Galerie Maria Wettergren presenting Astrid Krogh

Maria Wettergren opened her gallery in September 2010 in the left bank gallery district of Paris.

Galerie Maria Wettergren specializes in twenty-first century Scandinavian design of limited-edition furniture, lighting and art objects. Its aim is to promote both established designers and emerging talents from the new Nordic design scene through gallery editions, exhibitions and design fairs. The gallery is the first to focus in this field on an international level.

The main interest of the gallery is the experimental design born of our present time, which opens up future perspectives while keeping in mind the experience of the past. New ideas, materials and methods are combined with the Scandinavian tradition for excellent craftsmanship, giving rise to highly sculptural and poetic design objects with multiple purposes.

The gallery presents the work of pioneering Danish designers such as Mathias Bengtsson, Astrid Krogh, Louise campbell, Ditte Hammerstroem, cecilie Manz, Niels Hvass, Rasmus Fenhann, Erling christoffersen, Line Depping, Jakob Joergensen and Hans Sandgren Jakobsen.
